To a special man, wise and kind-hearted,
With gratitude for the unique process I completed with you and through you, Ben Shomer.
Mentor and graceful therapist, free-spirited soul, and an inspiration. I learned so much from you, yet I'm still on the edge of my path...
It is my time to proceed on my own, into the unknown, with courage and love, out of power and softness.
I have an intense yearning to continue developing, exploring, and healing myself and my surroundings with all the skills and comprehensions I acquired. The ending of this stage for me is a great joy, blended with sorrow and growth-related aches.
Happy - for the woman that I am today, is different from the one who came to you in many aspects. Throughout the process I traversed with you, I met with depths and the child I was. I courageously dealt with questions. I transformed patterns and paradigms, learned to listen to myself and others, dared to express desires and manifest - thus I have evolved into the one I choose to be.
During our discussions, I learned that I can, and should, speak of everything. You always brought me back to myself, personal responsibility - to love and self-nurturing (body-soul), and basing an inner silence - as an anchor, at the eye of any storm. The change expresses itself, agitating and positively reverberating in all of my life's circles (as a person, woman, spouse, mother, and career person) - there's no turning back.
Sadness rises within me on ending that process with you - willingly giving up on your kind look, wisdom, sensitivity, the confidence you inspire with your voice, presence, and good advice. I then remind myself that you'll always accompany me, since your frequency and words are deeply embedded in me.
I'm writing, and my eyes are filled with tears. Thank you, Ben of light and guardian of souls, for being my mentor and companion for the journey. Thank you for that love-of-man within you, your will to benefit, and for your unique, radiant light.
Following my process, I discovered my creativity. Suddenly, in mid-life, I began to write poetry. I published my first poetry book, "All that I learned to erase - a wild bouquet," which opened paths of influence and additional fascinating human connections. I accentuate my presence and convey my voice in this world, out of inner joy and freedom.
Tremendous gratitude from the depths of my loving heart,
Iris.
